older women rock the catwalk

As part of the Triennial Fringe there was a subversive catwalk of ‘Older Women Rock!’ poetry and poetic clothes in the ballroom of the Burstin Hotel Folkestone, followed by a wild tea trolley dance with bMoSo Academy of Song and Dance

  1. Just sending a warm hello from the U.S. It is encouraging to see other, older performance poets with a message that empowers women. I have been following Ms. Thorn’s work and have included her in my sphere of writers who both influence and inspire me. I am an activist/poet living in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Hungarian refugees and wife of a Chicano. I am very interested in social justice, poetry as therapy etc.
